A Scarce c. 1690 English Delft 'Lamberth' Blue & White Handled Posset Pot 17thC
Brief Description:
This is a wonderful late 17th-century English Blue & White Delft Twin-handled Posset Pot with lid.
Of a lobbed and serpentine type form, and painted with beautiful flowers and other foliage.

The piece is offered in an overall very good original condition commensurate with age.
Cosmetic imperfections to note: The small knob on the lid has been repaired. There are a handful of very small chips/fritts in areas of the glazing and edges, but all in perfect keeping with a piece of the period - see images.
