Description
A handsome and practical English Oak Georgian Housekeeper's cupboard, dating to the late 18th / early 19th Century.
Constructed in two sections for ease of movement, the top features a moulded cornice above two beautifully figured panelled doors, which open to a shelved interior. The base is configured with two short over two long drawers, all fitted with attractive brass ring-pull handles. The cupboard is raised on sturdy bracket feet.
Wonderful warm colour and rich patina throughout, substantial storage make it a versatile addition to any home. You don't come across housekeepers cupboards as good as this very often.
