Description
As-new DeLonghi Pinguino AP98 Gentle Jet, purchased in July from John Lewis for an elderly relative who decided they didn't want it, so it's basically brand new. It is on wheels, so easy to move around, and comes with remote control. Very easy to use and to set up. Cools down to 18degC, with a fan outlet in the top that goes up and down. Visit the John Lewis website where I bought it from, where you can see the full spec, and see that it cost new £800+delivery.
There is a long extendable tube at the back that you have to stick out the door/window, and it comes with a basic kit to help with this.
It is also very quiet when running and blows out a lovely stream of cool air. The reason it was rejected by my relative is because they would rather have the windows open at night to keep cool, rather than have them shut. AC units do not function very well if the windows are open as the cold air just escapes from the room. JL wouldn't refund me as it had been unboxed and turned on. So basically, this is a brand new, top-of-the-range portable AC unit going for a significantly reduced price.
