Our client is a specialist agribusiness consultancy, headquartered Suffolk, with a strong presence across the East and Southeast of England. They provide expert advice to estates and farming businesses, focusing on strategy, finance, and business operations. The Job Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Agricultural Management Consultant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of estates and farming clients, supporting their businesses through financial management, strategic advice, and practical problem-solving. The role will suit someone eager to build autonomy, contribute to client meetings, and develop into a trusted advisor within the agribusiness sector.
Location: Suffolk (with travel to clients)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Package: Up to £40,000
Key Responsibilities
* Producing accurate financial information, budgets, cashflow forecasts, and supporting documents.
* Communicating clearly and sensitively with clients on key matters affecting their farm businesses.
* Liaising with clients and colleagues to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
* Defining problems, identifying solutions, and presenting findings effectively.
* Contributing to client meetings with insights and professional recommendations.
* Continuously developing technical knowledge and applying it to client projects.
* Championing business operations and supporting the delivery of professional services in a timely manner.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
* Desire to provide high-quality advice to farmers and landowners.
* Strong relationship management and communication skills (written and oral).
* Commercial awareness and problem-solving aptitude.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; ability to learn new technologies.
* Experience in agriculture, rural business, or consultancy is highly advantageous.

* Proactive, independent learner with a team-oriented approach.
* Confident, professional, and client-focused.
* Willingness to travel to farms and work flexibly.
* Motivated to grow into a trusted point of contact for clients.
