We're looking for a talented and motivated Senior Performance and Improvement Officer to join our team and help transform how performance, data, and business intelligence support service delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the deployment of Power BI, improve data quality, and support business-critical decision-making across our high-profile, complex Operational Services division.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of the Business Improvement Team, you’ll:

Lead the roll-out of Power BI within Operational Services.

Improve the quality and accessibility of performance data across departments.

Design and deliver interactive dashboards that support both day-to-day management and strategic planning.

Support business improvement projects to enhance customer service, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Audit and analyse internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Work closely with service areas and corporate teams to ensure performance insights are clear, actionable, and aligned with our strategic priorities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX, and data modelling.

Strong knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practice.

Experience integrating multiple data sources to create cohesive reporting tools.

Ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies and ensure data quality.

Skilled in engaging stakeholders to assess reporting needs and data requirements.

Experience in delivering or supporting business improvement initiatives.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team committed to making services work better for everyone. You’ll have the opportunity to:

Influence high-impact decisions at all levels.

Work across a diverse range of services.

Drive innovative use of data and technology in the public sector.
