Description

Managing and resolving complex and escalated payroll queries.Providing expert guidance on UK payroll legislation, pensions, payroll adjustments, and reconciliations.Conducting payroll audits and reviews to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.Supporting clients through payroll validation activities and pre-payroll checks.Investigating and resolving payroll, pension, and benefits-related issues.Collaborating with internal teams to support compliance initiatives and payroll system enhancements.Developing and maintaining payroll knowledge resources, training materials, and process documentation.Delivering training and guidance to colleagues to improve payroll knowledge and service delivery.Supporting incident management activities and ensuring timely resolution of payroll-related issues.Keeping up to date with changes in payroll legislation and best practice.Profile

A minimum of 2 years' UK payroll experience, with strong technical knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, pensions, and statutory requirements.Proven experience handling complex payroll queries, reconciliations, audits, and payroll corrections.Strong understanding of payroll journals, manual adjustments, and payroll validation processes.Experience working with payroll software platforms and managing payroll for multiple clients or entities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and implement effective solutions.Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting high-value or complex client accounts.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical payroll matters clearly and professionally.Experience creating training materials, process documentation, or knowledge content would be advantageous.Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and maintain high attention to detail.Fluent English, both written and verbal.Job Offer
