Senior Finance Manager

Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager - Group Technical Accounting & Reporting to join our client's Group Reporting team on a contract basis (3-6 months). Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, this high-profile role will ensure compliance with IFRS and deliver accurate, high-quality Group financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical accounting guidance and support across the Group

Lead the preparation of Group statutory accounts and manage the external audit process

Monitor and implement new and revised IFRS standards

Prepare and present technical papers to senior management and the Audit Committee

Support key business projects and assess accounting implications

Manage and develop a small team

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA / CA or equivalent)

Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge (IFRS 16 advantageous)

Proven in-house experience within a large, fast-paced organisation (FTSE / multinational)

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure
