About the Role

A growing, values-driven organisation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll operations using MiraclePay. This is a pivotal role that ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and ongoing improvement of systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end payroll processing using MiraclePay

*

Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal policies

*

Maintain accurate employee records, including pay, benefits, and deductions

*

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies

*

Generate payroll reports and support internal and external audits

*

Lead improvements and automation initiatives within the payroll system

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role

*

In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements

*

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills

*

Strong leadership and communication skills

*

Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software tools

Desirable

Experience with payroll system transitions or implementations

*

Payroll Management diploma or equivalent qualification
