Head of Transaction Finance

SF Executive are partnered with a private equity backed organisation based in Gloucestershire who are seeking a Head of Transaction Finance. Reporting to the CFO, The Head of Transaction Finance will play a key role in supporting the business through a period of change and growth. Initial objectives will be to support the design and roll out of a common ERP solution and amalgamate and simplify the team structure.

You will be responsible for the following duties (but not limited to):

Lead and manage the transactional finance team, ensuring delivery of efficient and high–quality services across the businessSupport the successful implementation of a new ERP system across multiple sites managing timelines, stakeholders, and change impactDrive continuous improvement initiatives across transactional finance to enhance process efficiency and service deliveryCollaborate with cross–functional teams to standardise procedures and improve data integrity and reportingEmbed a culture of performance, accountability, and customer serviceSupport integration of newly acquired entities The successful Head of Transaction Finance will be a qualified finance professional (ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA or equivalent) who is an experienced transformation specialist in this field with the majority of the following attributes.

Proven experience in leading a transactional finance team within an industrial environmentDemonstrable experience in ERP implementation ideally within a multi–site organisationStrong track record of process improvement, cost efficiency, and service transformationInspirational people leader with the ability to manage change and bring people on the journeyCommercially astute, hands–on, and comfortable in a fast–paced, PE–backed setting This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly scaling, PE–backed organisation with ambitious growth plans, both organically and through acquisition.
