Job Title: Temporary Financial Auditor (Reconciliation Specialist)

Location: Ashford

Contract: Temporary (Approx. 1 month, includes Christmas shutdown)

Rate: £20–£25 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:00pm)

Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Auditor with strong reconciliation skills to join their finance team on a short-term basis. This role is critical to reviewing and correcting accounts that have not been reconciled for the past year, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough account reconciliations across all ledgers.

* Identify and investigate discrepancies and errors in financial records.

* Review historical transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

* Prepare accurate reports on findings and corrective actions.

* Work closely with the finance team to implement adjustments.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in financial auditing and reconciliation.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* High attention to detail and accuracy.

* Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.

* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
