We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the day–to–day operations of their small Finance Team, ensuring accurate financial management and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:

Lead and manage the Finance Team's daily activitiesOversee production of month–end management reports and full reconciliation schedulesManage weekly bank reconciliations and resolve related queriesPrepare and update weekly cash flow forecasts and rolling quarterly financial forecastsSupervise and assess team competencies; conduct monthly reconciliations in compliance with FCA regulationsReview FCA compliance tasks for quality and completenessLiaise with auditors to maintain financial control integrity and accurate recordsAdminister monthly payroll using Sage PayrollCoordinate the preparation of annual budgetsManage credit control and insurance payment accountsCandidates should have the following skills and qualifications:

Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA preferred)Extensive experience with Sage 50 and Sage PayrollStrong understanding of financial accounts, cash flow, and P&L forecastingProficient in Excel spreadsheetsMinimum 5 years in a similar roleKnowledge of FCA rules on client monies (desirable)Ability to analyse numerical data and communicate financial info to non–accountantsSkilled at multitasking, working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and prioritising workloadHigh level of financial integrityThis Finance Manager role runs Monday to Friday, 9a.m. to 5p.m., with 31 days' holiday including public and bank holidays. Pension and Life cover benefits apply after a qualifying period.
