Are you a qualified accountant ready to step into a strategic role that shapes the future of a purpose-driven organisation? At MPS, we protect the careers, reputations and wellbeing of healthcare professionals across the UK and internationally. Now, we re looking for a strategic, commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic Finance team.

You ll be at the heart of decision-making partnering with our People, Risk, Finance, and Pricing teams to drive performance, challenge thinking, and influence strategy. You ll work closely with senior leaders, including Executive Directors, to translate business plans into financial outcomes and deliver insights that matter.

You ll be the go-to expert for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), helping shape multi-year forecasts, optimise operational spend, and support strategic initiatives across a GBP300m income base. Expect variety, visibility, and impact.

We re not hung up on titles. You don t need to have been a Finance Business Partner before but you do need the right mindset and experience.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for:

Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with post-qualification experience in FP&A or management accounting Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Ability to communicate complex financial insights with clarity and confidence Commercial acumen and a forward-looking approach to financial performance Comfortable working with budgeting systems and financial tools Desirable:

Experience in insurance, risk-based businesses, or healthcare Exposure to strategic planning, pricing, or actuarial environments Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel you do not match 100% of the technical requirements.
