Description

SF are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant based in Nottingham on a permanent basis for a brilliant company that offers study support, flexible working and opportunities to progress. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their experience and progress further with study support.

Salary up to £29,500 + Bonus

Study support

Hybrid working - 2 days working from home

Hours - 9:30am - 5:30pm

25 Holidays + Bank holidays (Increases with length of service +1 each year)

Progression and training

Job duties:

- Assist with Production of the monthly management accounts.

- Balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.

- Monthly revenue invoicing, analysis of receivables and credit control.

- Processing of purchase invoices.

- Processing and ensuring payments to suppliers are actioned in a timely manner.

- Bank reconciliations.

- Cash reporting.

- Assist with the monthly KPI reporting.

- Production of quarterly VAT Returns.

- Quarterly intercompany reconciliations.

- Assist with Production of the annual statutory accounts, complying with IFRS/ FRS 102 reporting.

- Assist with Audit as required.

- Support the fund teams with queries.

- Compliance with regulatory bodies, i.e. Ofgem.

- Contribute, or otherwise assist, as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Studying or have a masters degree (AAT/Hons/ACCA/ACA/CIMA)

- Some experience in Month or Year - End duties (Bank/Balance Sheet Recs/Month/Year - End Journals/Fixed Asset etc)

- Team player

- Good attention to detail

- Good work ethic and a can do attitude
