Description

Route One Infrastructure are a specialist bridge maintenance company operating across the whole of the UK for Highways England, Transport Scotland, main contractors and local authorities on the motorway, trunk road and road networks.

About The Role

Working closely with the Finance Manager, the Finance Administrator will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial and administrative activities, ensuring deadlines are met and processes run smoothly. This is a part time role, consisting of 24 hours hour per week.

What You’ll Do

* Conduct monthly plant audits, updating records and managing plant changes when required.

* Check and process staff expenses

* Review monthly credit card statements, ensuring accurate coding and VAT before approval.

* Prepare monthly electricity and headcount reports for HSEQ.

* Provide information and support for audits.

* Manage ad-hoc Government Court claims.

* Assist the Finance Manager with various financial tasks.

* Provide cover for reception and operations administration when needed

* Order and distribute employee vouchers (birthdays, eye tests).

* Carry out other duties as required by the Finance Manager/Financial Controller

What We Are Looking For

* GCSEs (English & Maths)

* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

* Excellent communication and organisational abilities

* High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management

* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and confident communicator (both face-to-face and by phone)

* Accounts Payable Experience (Desirable)
