D365 Finance Senior Integration Developer (remote)

Your new role

We are currently seeking a D365 Senior Integration Developer (finance) to design and implement integrations using D365 API's (e.g. Data Management Package, REST API, OData) You will develop automation processes for data transformation, upload, import and error handling in batch or near real-time modes.

Alongside this, you will configure authentication (eg OAuth with Entra ID) and monitor integration jobs for status and failures as well as integrating with Azure services (Logic Apps, Blob Storage) for file-based or hybrid flows if needed. Finally, you will be testing end-to-end scenarios, optimise for high-volume data and ensure audit compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

Solid D365 Finance integrations, with hands-on use of REST APIs, DMF packages, and OData endpoints.

Experience with external systems for financial data consolidation and ERP connectivity, including mapping tools (e.g., XSLT for XML).

Proficiency in tools like Postman, Azure Logic Apps, and scripting (e.g., C#, PowerShell) for API orchestration, along with ETL processes.

Knowledge of data mapping, XML/CSV/JSON formats, and handling large transaction volumes with retries, idempotency, and throttling.

Expertise in Azure integration services (e.g., Service Bus, Event Grid, Function Apps) and monitoring (e.g., Application Insights, Log Analytics).

Coding in Azure Functions.Background in secure integrations, including encryption, compliance standards , and handling sensitive financial data.

Experience troubleshooting distributed systems, implementing webhooks or event-driven architectures, and working with CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have - Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate for low-code workflow automation and orchestration, and Power Apps for building custom connectors or integration interfaces.
