Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst
Reports to: Department Manager, Risk Management Department
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until February 2027
Preferred start date: 1st December 2025
Location: Central London
Hybrid Working option available on request if required (Minimum 3 days in the office)
Salary: £32,500 - £35,000 depending on experience
Role Purpose
The Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for conducting both quantitative and qualitative assessments of credit risk for the organization and its affiliated entities. This role also manages the end-to-end Credit Application process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze financial statements and prepare credit reviews for applications submitted by UK business units and affiliated companies
Recommend appropriate credit ratings, limits, and credit enhancement measures
Manage the intake and processing of Credit Applications
Support other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the line manager
Skills & Competencies Required
Essential:
Proven experience in a similar role or professional environment
1–2 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or possession of a bookkeeping certification
Solid understanding of company financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Self-motivated, commercially minded, and results-driven, with a clear understanding of credit risk assessment and management
Ability to meet tight deadlines when required
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (basic to intermediate level)
Proactive and adaptable, with excellent time management skills
