Credit Controller (6-Month Contract / Temporary)

Location: Partington – Office based for 3 months, then hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days WFH)

Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00

We are looking for a confident, proactive, and hardworking Credit Controller to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced finance environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and has a passion for cash collection and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Chase payment for aged debt from a portfolio of customers using multiple communication methods

Allocate and reconcile cash across multi-currency debtor accounts

Enter and communicate customer disputes promptly, liaising with regional contacts

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account and customer issues

Monitor and manage aged debt to maximise cash collection

Produce and distribute reporting packs within specified deadlines

Work closely with the team to achieve group targets and objectives

Skills & Experience Required:

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Strong team player with the ability to quickly establish relationships

Ability to meet deadlines and deliver work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Adaptable and open to flexible ways of working, with a willingness to learn new processes

Strong Excel skills; SAP experience preferred
