Credit Controller – Full Time

Location: Farrington Gurney

Salary: £25,400 – £25,700 per year

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Location: Fully office based

The Role

As a Credit Controller, you’ll be responsible for chasing overdue invoices and ensuring payments are made within agreed timescales. You’ll handle queries, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate records while providing excellent customer service.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

Chasing overdue invoices by phone, email, and letter

Managing held order reports and ensuring timely debt collection

Handling disputed bills and negotiating repayment terms

Responding to client and internal enquiries

Completing banking, allocations, and credit checks

Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity

Assisting with other duties when required

About You

Confident communicator, able to be assertive when needed

Strong customer service background

IT literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office

Good numeracy and attention to detail

Highly organised with strong time management

Team player with a proactive approach

Previous credit control experience (desirable)

Credit control qualifications (desirable)
