Description

Position Overview: As a Business Development Manager for our company, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding our client base. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and build strong relationships with potential clients. You will collaborate closely with the management to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall success of the firm.

Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, key competitors, and industry trends. Analyse data to understand the market landscape and uncover growth opportunities.

Lead Generation:

Generate leads through various channels, including cold-calling, networking, attending industry events, and utilising online platforms. Qualify leads and assess their potential value to the firm.

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and promote long-term partnerships. Respond to client inquiries and address any concerns promptly and professionally.

Business Proposals and Presentations:

Prepare compelling business proposals and presentations to showcase the firm's services and capabilities to potential clients. Effectively communicate the firm's value proposition and tailor presentations to meet clients' specific needs. Partnership Development:

Identify potential strategic partners and develop mutually beneficial collaborations. Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts to enhance the firm's offerings and reach.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business development goals. Collaborate with the sales team to align efforts and ensure a cohesive approach to generating new business.

Client Onboarding:

Work with the departments to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Sales Performance Reporting:

Track and analyse sales performance metrics and report regularly to the management team. Provide insights and recommendations to optimise business development efforts.

Industry Knowledge:

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in the accounting and finance sectors. Use industry knowledge to position the firm as a trusted advisor and solution provider.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the accounting or professional services industry. Familiarity with the UK accounting/consulting market and its dynamics.

Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

Analytical mindset and proficiency in market research and data analysis.

Results-driven and able to meet or exceed sales targets.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.

Remuneration and Benefits:
