Billing Assistant

Description

£25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience (pro rata)

* 6 month fixed term contract

* Modern Leatherhead offices with hybrid available

* Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Your job will be varied one and will involve;

* Raising client bills for a selection of partners/managers

* Raising the bill in Word

* Creating the draft email to send to client

* Sending the client bills via to the relevant partner/manager for approval

* Liaising with stakeholders to maintain the client services and jobs within the Practice Management system to ensure that only relevant options are available

* General maintenance of data held on the PE system

* Running various reports for internal departments

* Assisting in the month end reconciliations

* In time, meeting with partners on aged WIP to determine whether it is fully recoverable

* Liaising with credit control to process credit notes, invoices and write offs

Person Specification:

* Experience of billing in a professional services environment

* Awareness of deadlines and ability to prioritise and be flexible if priorities change

* IT literate, be able to use Excel/Word

* Organised due to the volume of work that flows through the department

* Ability to work using your own initiative or as part of a team

* Be proactive and ask questions where necessary

* Demonstrate professionalism towards stakeholders
