Salary: GBP45,000 GBP50,000

Location: Belfast

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity for a qualified Audit professional to join an established Audit & Assurance team, taking greater ownership of client assignments and developing towards management-level responsibility.

You ll work with clients across a variety of sectors, leading audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements and supporting junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments. Lead audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical testing. Prepare and review audit files, ensuring documentation meets required standards. Produce statutory financial statements from client information. Identify key risks or areas of concern and communicate these to Managers and Partners. Manage assignments through to finalisation and senior review. Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted point of contact. Support the delivery of portfolio budgets, deadlines and profitability targets. Coach, mentor and review the work of junior audit colleagues. Work across a varied portfolio of clients and industries. Ideal Candidate

ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified. Strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice. Experience managing audit assignments from planning through to completion. Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. Experience auditing clients across a range of sectors. Confident identifying and communicating audit risks. Previous experience coaching or mentoring junior team members. Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
