Assistant Management Accountant (FTC) | £30,000 - £35,000 | Preston + Hybrid | 12 Month Temp-2-Perm | Broad exposure and mentorship

Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a high-growth, acquisitive business in Preston to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12-Month Temp-2-Perm basis. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Review nominal ledgers and completing cost analysis

Analysis of high-risk nominal codes

Accruals and prepayments

Assisting the transactional team with ad-hoc duties

Intercompany recharges

Posting journals onto the ERP system

Strengthen internal controls

Updating management packs

Balance sheet reconciliations

Management of fixed assets and stock

P&L reviews

Audit support

Ad-hoc duties

Required Experience and Skills:

Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT Qualified

At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good organisational and time-keeping skills

High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role

Good IT and MS Excel skills
