Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. They operate in the high-volume FMCG sector, supplying products across the UK from a modern, high-capacity production facility.

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting their finance team, ensuring that all accounts payable processes run smoothly, efficiently, and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Process financial documents with accuracy, ensuring all information is complete, correct, and compliant with internal procedures, accounting standards, and legislation.

Deliver excellent service to both internal teams and external partners.

Assist with internal and external audits.

Support the Accounts Payable Manager with various tasks and projects as required.Skills & Experience Required

Experience working with financial systems.

Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail
