Accounts Payable Assistant – Temporary Contract

Derby | Full-Time Hours | Temp Contract

Are you an organised finance professional with a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills in invoice processing, accounts administration, and supporting smooth financial operations.

What you’ll be doing:

* Processing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency

* Assisting with accounts receivable and income recovery tasks

* Ordering goods and services in line with procurement procedures

* Maintaining accurate manual and computerised accounts records

* Supporting the Finance Team Leader with day-to-day operations

* Providing clear advice, reports, and analysis when required

What we’re looking for:

* Previous experience in accounts payable or finance administration

* Strong organisational and IT skills, with confidence using finance systems

* Attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload

* A team player with excellent communication skills

* Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach
