A fast growth manufacturing business in Morecambe are looking to recruit a new Accounts Payable Assistant to work within their friendly and supportive finance team.

Your New Role as Accounts Payable Assistant:

• Processing purchase invoices and maintaining purchase ledgers

• Reviewing and resolving ageing balances

• Ongoing reconciliation of supplier accounts

• Verifying the accuracy of postings to supplier accounts, general ledger accounts and cost centres to support internal and external audits

• Contributing to continual improvement initiatives

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The successful candidate will be proven in a similar Accounts Payable role and ideally be AAT qualified or actively studying, although this is not essential if sufficient experience is demonstrated. You will be a collaborative worker with strong organisational skills with a reliable and can-do attitude. Strong IT skills are also required, including Microsoft Excel.
