Description

The Accounts Assistant FTC role supports the finance team with daily accounting tasks, including processing invoices, reconciliations, and expense management. It's a great opportunity to build financial skills while contributing to smooth business operations.

They aim to grow brand presence through innovation, marketing expertise, and retail collaborations. Their reach extends globally, bringing a wide range of beauty products to consumers.

Description

The key responsibilities of this Accounts Assistant role will be:

Support balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals

Support Intercompany reconciliations

Support preparing Month-end reporting package and budget/reforecast processes.

Deal with Audit requests as required

Bank Reconciliation

Ensure all customers are invoiced in due time - liaising with credit control

Making Sure all Debit notes have been captured

Review of A/P invoices and posting in the system - marketing (GL, coding, analytics…)

Review accounts Payable mailbox.

Stock and warehouse invoices posting.

Review fixed asset with Management Accountant (FA register, capitalization, depreciation…)

Prepare Fixed Asset Schedule.

Supporting the FP&A manager with ad hoc queries/ reporting

Profile

The successful Accounts Assistant should have:

Proven experience in a similar accountancy role

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

A degree or qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Annual salary in the range of £32,000 to £34,000 per annum.
