Accounts Assistant

Location: King's Lynn

Job Type: Full–Time / Part–Time

Salary: 27,500 – 32,000 per annum

Berry Recruitment are looking for an AAT–qualified Accounts Assistant to support expansion within a busy establishment based in King's Lynn.

You'll handle day–to–day accounting tasks, assist with reporting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain financial records and ledgers

Prepare management accounts and reports

Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations

Support budgeting, forecasting, and VAT returns

Liaise with auditors and HMRC

Ensure compliance with accounting standards

Requirements

A minimum of AAT Level 2 qualification

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage)

Strong Excel and analytical skills

Good communication and organisation
