An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing insurance brokerage based in York. This client-focused firm is known for its personal service and professional expertise across both SME commercial and private client insurance. They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Account Handler to join their friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage client renewals and process mid-term adjustments efficiently and accurately

*

Handle incoming customer queries in a professional and timely manner

*

Ensure compliance with internal processes and industry regulations

*

Maintain high standards of due diligence and customer service

*

Represent the business with integrity and professionalism at all times

Key Skills & Attributes:

*

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar insurance handling role

*

Cert CII qualification or above (or working towards)

*

Strong IT skills and comfortable using insurance software (Acturis experience is a bonus, but not essential)

*

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

*

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members

*

Confident working under pressure and meeting deadlines

*

A positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionally

*

Comfortable working in a small team environment
