LUCAS MAG/DYNO M01/4 Norton
This Mag Dyno came with a 1943 Norton 16H engine that I had purchased and fitted to replace a poorly Model 18 engine which I intend to rebuild in time. I’m currently using the Model 18 Mag/dyno that was originally fitted and the bike is running perfectly so this one is up for grabs. It has an anti clockwise rotation stamped on the brass plate along with the same DOR marker on the sprocket cover. As you can see from the video there is a bright spark and it’s generating a good voltage 6.5 to 8.5 volts as can be seen on the DC meter. I can post or I can deliver along M4-M5-M6 route as I periodically travel to Blackpool from Swansea.
Looking at the dyno cover there is still the green army camouflage paint so at one point in its life it saw service during the Second World War along with the engine which also has some of the green paint remaining.
