National 5/ Higher Chemistry Tuition

About me:

I am a friendly tutor committed to helping students reach their full potential. I have a PhD in Chemistry and a first class MChem degree. I have also worked in the chemical industry and now I work as a GTCS qualified teacher in Falkirk council.

I have many years experience teaching National 5 and Higher Chemistry in the classroom. I am also employed by the SQA to mark Higher Chemistry exam papers; therefore I am able to coach my pupils on exam technique and what answers would score top marks on questions across all key areas. I have high expectations for all my students and I am happy to answer questions in between lessons.

I believe that every student has their own unique learning style, which is why I tailor my teaching methods to suit them. I highlight to my pupils all the knowledge they need to pass an exam, and I go through detailed worked examples to help my students answer past paper questions effectively.

Tuition:

I offer online tutoring using google meets

1-1 fees

National 5 - £35 per hour
Higher - £40 per hour
