Hi, I’m Nikola — a friendly, results-focused tutor who’s been teaching since 2014. I hold a PhD in Theoretical Physics and I love making challenging ideas feel simple and intuitive. I work with GCSE, A-level, IB, and university students across all major exam boards (AQA, OCR, Cambridge, Edexcel), and I have experience supporting both learners with specific needs (such as dyslexia) and those aiming for top performance.

Lessons are online via Zoom, where I use screen sharing and a graphics tablet to provide clear, step-by-step solutions. After each session, you receive tidy PDF notes (examples are shown in the images), and I often bring in visual aids like diagrams, short videos, and interactive resources to make ideas stick.

My teaching style is flexible: I adapt to each student’s profile, focusing first on understanding, then building speed and confidence. We emphasize core principles, problem-solving patterns, and what exam questions are really testing. For ambitious students, I also draw on my experience leading competition-style classes in physics and algorithms.

I teach both maths and physics. In maths, I cover algebra, calculus, analysis, linear algebra, differential equations, geometry, and engineering/architecture maths. In physics, I cover mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum physics, and relativity, always aiming to build intuition with diagrams and modelling.

Pricing: GCSE, IB, and A-level lessons are £40 for 45 minutes or £50 for 60 minutes. University-level lessons are £50 for 45 or £60 for 60 minutes.
