Renault Megane
Known for its family-friendly design, the Renault Megane is a hatchback with a spacious interior and five doors for easy passenger access. It’s also often available in saloon and estate variants (usually called Grand Coupé and Sport Tourer respectively). The petrol TCe 140 offers up to 46 mpg with 140 bhp, while the diesel Blue dCi 115 offers an impressive 62 mpg. Both versions are available in manual and automatic and come in two trim levels – the Iconic and the sportier RS Line. Recently restyled to incorporate distinctive LED headlights and a more refined interior, the Megane offers a raft of impressive tech and important safety features. The hatchback and Sport Tourer are also getting PHEV versions in the coming year, named the Megane E-Tech.
