2The wiper fuse in most Audi models is located in the engine compartment fuse box. For example, in popular UK models like the Audi A3 or Q5, you'll typically find it in the main fuse panel under the bonnet.
To replace the wiper fuse:
- Locate the fuse box (usually marked with a diagram under the lid)
- Use the white plastic fuse puller tool included in the box
- Identify the correct wiper fuse (check your owner's manual for the exact position)
- Pull out the blown fuse and insert a new one of the same amperage
Important notes for UK Audi owners:
- Most modern Audis use blade-type fuses (also called spade or plug-in fuses)
- The wiper system typically uses a 15-25 amp fuse (varies by model)
- Never replace with a higher-rated fuse as this could damage the wiper motor
- If fuses keep blowing, have an Audi specialist check for electrical faults
For specific models like the Audi A4 or e-tron, always consult your vehicle manual as fuse locations can vary between petrol, diesel and electric versions.
