The car with an M-shaped logo is Maybach, a German ultra-luxury vehicle brand now owned by Mercedes-Benz. In the UK market, Maybach models like the S-Class and GLS are sold as ultra-premium alternatives to standard Mercedes vehicles. The Maybach emblem features two interlocked Ms within a spherical triangle, representing 'Maybach Motorenbau' (Maybach Engine Construction). Founded in the 1920s by Wilhelm Maybach (co-founder of Daimler-Benz), the brand was revived in 2002 as Mercedes-Maybach. While less common than other German luxury brands in the UK, Maybach competes with Bentley and Rolls-Royce, offering bespoke options through Mercedes-Benz UK dealerships. The current Maybach lineup includes the S 580 and S 680 saloons, plus the GLS 600 SUV, all featuring handcrafted interiors and advanced technology.
