When parking in an angled space in the UK, adjust your steering while monitoring the wing mirrors to maintain proper distance from the kerb and other vehicles. For right-hand drive cars like most UK models (Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Fiesta etc.), focus on the left mirror when reversing into an angled space - maintain about 15cm (roughly two fingers' width) between the car and the kerb line. If the angle is too sharp, straighten the wheel briefly to create space before turning again. Continue adjusting until the car is parallel with the parking bay lines, using both mirrors to check alignment before fully straightening the wheels.
