Yamaha, XVS, 2001, 649 (cc) Bobber

Description

Yamaha 650 Dragstar Bobber, beautiful paint job. Needs work doing on the engine. Either big or little end bearings need doing, due to previous owner running with very little oil. Still runs, but knocks like a baillif chasing a credit card debt. Con rods with bearings available for about £100 here on eBay. Only one cylinder has issues with knocking, so one con rod or bearings need replacing. Or just stick a new lump in it. Mileage stated is just guesswork as I had to put something. Personally I think it could just be a top end issue rather than bottom end.

A lovely little project for the winter, was mot'd when I bought it for £1300 about 2 years ago. Have done nothing to it other than put fresh oil in it. I will probably never get round to doing anything with it, so am reluctantly selling it. Btw the pictures don't do the paint job justice. Been sat in my garage so no mot.
