For sale my 2006 Yamaha XT660X.

33755 miles, Orange, ULEZ compliant, A2 Compliant

The good: Starts first time every time, runs fantastic. Bike is a lot of fun, perfect commuter and A2 compliant. Happy to sit at 80 on the motorway or carving corners in the lanes. Tyres in excellent condition, MOT mid-January. GIVI crash bars installed, as well as custom aluminium skid plate on the underside and in between exhaust headers, protecting the engine from kerbs and stones. Polisport handguards installed. SHAD lockable top box and mounting hardware installed. OEM Brembos front and rear.

Comes with all paperwork + spare key + red key. Bike is ULEZ compliant, I had it tested and certified. Forks resealed and cush drives replaced 1000 miles ago. Tyres replaced 2000 miles ago. Serviced (oil, oil filter, air filters, spark plug) less than 1000 miles ago.

The not-so-good:
1: fuel-level sender does not work, and low fuel-level light on dash flashes constantly. I’ve sorted this by putting a small bit of tape over the light so the blinking light isn't distracting, and resetting the trip meter each time I fill up (bike goes around about 150 miles per fill). The issue can be fixed permanently but I haven’t been bothered to.
2: the bike was blown over in the wind a couple of years ago outside my flat. Scratches can be seen on the handguard and exhaust guard. Bike was thoroughly checked by my mechanic after the fall and the damage was just cosmetic.
