Description

An authentic Original preserved pair of 1920 - 1930 porch posts. Material: Solid BC Pine Wood. A heavy item, the wood density is remarkable you dont see this now. Wood shaped at ends for securing as they were created. There is no rot to the posts at all. They are exceptionally well preserved. Lead plate sat between post and brickwork. They remain painted white paint. Can be sanded and reinstated. House number can be seen as a shadow on painted surface. They are ready to repaint or strip accordingly. The wood quality is extremely dense and wood weight is exceptionally heavy. Its rare to find anything so perfect. Ideal for restoration works as replacements or to use for other house or garden project work.
