The pattern of the solid-color part of the fabric is Ruyi round flower (如意团花), and it adopts the jacquard process.
Metal wires are used on the fabric to weave the patterns of "begonia flowers", "small bridges", "pavilions", "butterflies" and "window lattices".
Although the pattern is designed to depict the Jiangnan scenery with small bridges and flowing water, the overall effect is very much in the style of the imperial court.
