SMART UNIFORM which would have been worn by a female US ARMY LIEUTENANT COLONEL at evening/special occasion events!

ALL ITEMS ARE WELL MADE & VERY GOOD QUALITY GARMENTS!

IDEAL FOR RE-ENACTMENT or could be re-vamped for STAGE/THEATRE USE!

Complete uniform comprises:

1. PALE IVORY CROPPED JACKET.

2. BLACK FLOOR LENGTH LINED SKIRT.

3. PALE IVORY FRILLED PEARL-BUTTON BLOUSE.

4. BURGUNDY/RED CRAVAT.

5. GOLD SASH/CUMMERBUND.

6. STRIPED CAP.

MEASUREMENTS:
JACKET:
JACKET BUST: 18 INCHES - - measured straight across the front - pit-to-pit - with the jacket edge-to-edge at the front.

JACKET LENGTH: 19 INCHES - top of collar to hemline.

JACKET is FREE SIZE on the WAIST - EDGE-TO-EDGE design - NOT intended to do-up - in order to show off the sash.

JACKET IS FULLY LINED.

BLOUSE:
BLOUSE BUST: 20 INCHES - measured straight across front - pit-to-pit - with the blouse done up.

BLOUSE LENGTH: 24 INCHES - top of shoulder to hemline.

7 FRONT OPENING PEARL BUTTONS

FABRIC: COTTON - WASHABLE.

SKIRT:
SKIRT WAIST: 13.5 INCHES - straight across front with the skirt done up.

SKIRT LENGTH: 41 INCHES

SKIRT IS FULLY LINED with METAL ZIP

LOVELY GOOD WEIGHT TO THE SKIRT - HANGS WELL & IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!

SASH/CUMMERBUND LENGTH: 30 INCHES

CAP:
FREE-SIZE - designed to 'perch' on the head - similar to the old-style British nurses caps!

ISSUES/DAMAGE/FAULTS - MUST READ BEFORE PURCHASE AS NO RETURNS/REFUNDS!
1. JACKET has a few faint marks, mainly on the left upper front and left upper sleeve. I do not know what these are - the uniform has been hung in storage for some time and endured a few house moves being put in and out of boxes, etc! The marks are faint and MIGHT remove with some attention or a DRY-CLEAN - but no guarantee! I HAVE TRIED TO SHOW THE WORST IN THE LAST COUPLE OF PICS!

2. BLOUSE has ONE PEARL BUTTON MISSING - second from top. Not a problem as you can easily replace it with the lowest one (which is on the part of the blouse that would be tucked into the skirt).

I purchased this uniform about 10 years ago but NEVER WORE IT. It has been hung up in covered storage since purchase. This is now a RARE UNIFORM to find!
