UNTOUCHED HUGEX 1940-50's VALJOUX 92 35.5mm PUMP PUSHERS STAYBRITE STEEL CASE
Up for sale today is a lovely Hugex pump pusher steel chronograph case.
Watch remains in as found condition, totally untouched.
- Tachy base 1000 silver dial with rose gilt numerals - shows various aging marks and the minute track pain has faded in different places;
- Original rose gilt dauphine hands, chrono and counter hands;
- Lovely cone step smooth bezel;
- Low dome acrylic crystal;
- Original fat crown and pump pushers;
- Lovely fat steel case with brushed and pierced lugs, brushed basin and two tone screw down back.
The watch is sports the famous Valjoux 92 column wheel movement. Rhodium finish movement. The balance turns freely but the movement needs attention - mainspring is broken, so sold as is, for you to restore!!!
Case, back, bezel and crystal show age related marks or scratches but remain in as found condition, not refurbished.
Dial and hands show wear or aging marks.
Diameter: ~35.5 mm across, not including the crown.
All the imperfections are shown in photos.
Any other defects not mentioned in description but visible in the pictures will be considered as described.
