Bespoke quality Lightweight Electric Violin Full Size
Basford, Nottinghamshire
£450
Description
This Handcrafted Bespoke Electric Violin is absolutely a one off quality Instrument. It is designed, developed and handcrafted by the violin player Luthier/Seller. It is made from a West African hardwood called Sapele and weighs just under 0.6 kg. The transducer Piezo pick up is located under the bridge to provide a quality clear sound. No ambient sounds are amplified. Tone and volume controls are easily and conveniently placed for ease adjustment during playing. Further sounds will be obtained in conjunction with the use of a Guitar Sound Box. Quality steel strings are fitted but the use of Synthetic strings like Dominant will produce a warmer softer tone. The players choice. The tuning is so much simpler and quicker than standard tuning pegs. A standard 3mm/6mm Jack plug is discreetly located directly from the pre-amp unit. The Scale length, size and action are as an acoustic violin. The provision of Ear Phones for silent playing connects directly into the pre-amp unit with a 3mm jack plug.
Typically this will suit a Performing Violinist who would like to add some richness to their playing and performance. The violin is not accompanied with. Bow as I assume players of this level will have their favourite bow anyway but I can supply a bow if requested. The violin comes with a custom fitted new Shoulder Rest.
As this is a bespoke shape violin it comes with a previously used standard violin case which has undergone certain adjustments to provide secure and safe carrying and traveling arrangements.
