The car still starts, runs and drives.

After a long drive, the coolant begins to bubble and the car develops a whining noise.

My garage has advised that the turbo may need replacing.

However, having researched the symptoms myself, I believe the issue could potentially be related to the cooling system, such as the water pump or thermostat, rather than the turbo.

I am not a mechanic and cannot confirm the exact fault, so I am selling the car with this issue disclosed and reflected in the price.
