About Us:
Trusted since 2011, Goodwins Auto Salvage Ltd specialises in near-new vehicle salvage sourced directly from major UK insurance companies. We stock a wide range of accident-damaged, stolen-recovered, and categorised vehicles (including Cat S and Cat N), with most under 3 years old — and many less than a year old.
New stock arrives weekly, and we focus on vehicles ready to be repaired and returned to the road. Our inventory includes unrecorded and fleet disposal units, ideal for trade buyers and private customers alike.
Conveniently located in Macclesfield, Cheshire — just 15 miles south of Manchester and an hour north from Birmingham — we’re easily accessible via the M6 motorway.

All vehicles sold by Goodwins Auto Salvage Ltd are not roadworthy unless expressly stated in writing.
- Vehicles are sold without warranty and without MOT.
- They must not be used on public highways until fully repaired to a standard that meets all legal requirements for road use.
- Unless otherwise stated in writing, all vehicles are sold as damaged and classed as an insurance company total loss.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that any vehicle bought from Goodwins Auto Salvage Ltd is repaired, inspected, and certified as roadworthy before being driven on public roads.

Vehicle Sales
• All vehicles are sold as seen, without warranty, and strictly as trade sales.
• Unless otherwise stated, vehicles are un-roadworthy and will require repairs and relevant checks (MOT, VIC, etc.) before use.
• We strongly advise collection by recovery truck. Vehicles should not be driven from our yard.
• Once a vehicle leaves our premises, we accept no liability.
• Buyers must inspect vehicles on-site before purchase. Discrepancies cannot be rectified after collection.
• Viewing is strongly recommended prior to purchase. We cannot list every fault or damage — please do not assume anything.

• Bank transfer is the preferred method of payment.
• Please note: we do not accept debit or credit cards.

• All vehicles are collection only, unless otherwise stated.
