1979 Ford Escort Mk2 1.6 Van. Was previously imported from South Africa but has been here a while and is fully Uk registered. We have the V5 here. It starts runs and drives is solid but there is room for a bit improvements here and there.

Body - Mk2 Escort Van shell. good original inner wings, strut tops, pillars. Floors have had repairs at the front in the past which are solid now. They are visible but by not bad. SA spec Sport front spoiler fitted, Sport quarter bumpers and spotlights. replacement headlights fitted. Paintwork is very presentable, I dont like the stripe but easily removed. Its had previous repairs on lower quarters and scuttle ends, which all look decent. Bottom of drivers rear door has been repaired and filled. Overall a good solid old van

Mechanics - Good 1600 crossflow which starts no problem. Brakes are good preevious owner had done a bit work on the brakes, electronic ignition kit fitted. Car runs and drives and was used during the summer. Gearstick goes straight over to reverse so the stick will need looking at or replaced.

Interior - Seats have been retrimmed, as have the door cards. Rear has been carpeted and trimmed. the inside panels have been trimmed to look like bigger versions of the door cards. Sport dash pad fitted. Perfectly useable but would benefit from a better set of seats, original door cards etc.

Wheels - Capri Laser Alloys with good tyres

this is a pretty presentable old van. Its not a show winner, but they are 25k. You are welcome to come and see it. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote
