Description
The iUke is a solid topped piccolo scale instrument developed by iUke in conjunction with Aquila strings.
It’s also variously called a mini-uke, sopranissimo, super-soprano, nano-uke or sopranino.
It is a solid-cedar topped instrument designed to be tuned to standard GCEA tuning but one whole octave above a soprano uke.
The strings were developed specifically for the uke to allow this tuning to work.
HOWEVER I found this tuning very shrill and have tuned the iUke down to DGBE (Baritone tuning) using the same strings. I think this sounds much better but the strings can easily be tuned back up to GCEA if preferred.
Extremely good "as new" condition of both the ukulele and the padded gig-bag.
