Description
Up for sale is my Imua IC-C5 concert ukulele. It comes from a smoke-free home and is in wonderful condition with original plush hard case. Indeed, the only mark I can actually see is in the last picture with a slight knock to the bottom.
It would have been sold for around 1.5k when they were released. You can find it by searching this at Bax Shop.
I don't know much about the brand but I believe they were made to rival the 3(4!) big Ks of Hawaii. Hawaiian-made. Using the finest woods. Designed by a master Japanese luthier. What's not to love?
Still, I have amassed 6 ukes and I have 3 that I just would never part with. My wonderful wife keeps reminding me I promised to only ever own four. So, either I get better at hiding my ukes, or I must put this one and a couple of others up for sale!
It really is a thing of beauty. In truth, I always thought I could never say the koa on a uke was ever too good for my eyes but, if I was ever to say it, it would probably be for this uke. The koa is so beautifully figured, like tiger stripes, and I just think I prefer something plainer (never thought I would say that!). Still, there is no denying it is gorgeous.
