Initially Karl quoted a certain amount (a rough estimate) for hedge removal however we wanted some more job done and he came out to look at the job. We discussed some landscaping design and later sent him the sketched plans on his wassp and were expecting a final quote. He never responded or got back for more than a week hence we opted for another vendor and informed him on wassp. He calls up today asking for a cancellation fee which is 50% of the initial quote just to come over and look at the requorements. He never mentioned this would be charged, he only opted to talk about it when we decided to go with another landscaper. He says the terms are on the website (website is inactive). They really need to work on setting expectations as todays conversation felt more like blaming us for his time which is unacceptable. We have always valued time and efforts and this time there was absolutely no effort made so obviously i have no clue what was the charge for?? I would recommend to set clear boundaries and expectations if you are opting for this company.
