Travel partner required for trip to Portugal for 1-2 weeks.

Hello!
👋I am a 55 year old professional woman, living in South London looking to travel to Portugal next year as I need to get some quick business to sort out there and I would welcome a much needed break too. I was considering January, as the weather is at it's worst here in the UK so ideal to get away or around April/Easter time when the weather will be lovely in Portugal but not too hot as it can get in the Summer months. I will be visiting Lisbon, Cascais/Estoril area, and the Algarve, but open to suggestions to explore more.

🚗 I am looking for a purely platonic female or male travel buddy/partner: someone who is primarily responsible/reliable, decent and respectful. This would be ideal for someone mature, tee-total, non-smoker, who loves a good natter that would be happy to do a few things on their own, during the short time that I need to take care of some business issues. While I do drive, I have not driven for ages and would feel unsure driving overseas, so it would be good if the person could drive and would be willing to drive, although this is not a deal breaker, as we can always take public transport if both of us prefer not to drive. I speak Portuguese and I have been to Portugal before, so getting around in Portugal should be easier. I would be equally happy to consider going on a road trip adventure by car from here to Portugal as I have never done that before and it has been a very long time since I went on a road trip. This is a great option for someone out there who has a car, loves driving and will be willing to drive throughout the road trip. Each of us would cover our own costs but share on costs like car hire if we both agree to go down this route. Or share fuel costs if the road trip option was a go!

☕️🥪🎷Things to do while away: The usual things one would do while on holidays like sightseeing (exploring anything off the beaten track), trying out local food, entertainment, and if the weather is brilliant... getting out in nature, a short burst of beach and sailing in the Algarve would be great! Absolutely open to more ideas of what you'd be up to doing too..

☺️I have met some amazing people in the past through Gumtree where we travelled together and became good friends or travel buddies. So I would like to do it again. I am placing this ad well ahead of time, for practical and safety reasons because I would like to get to know the person I am travelling with(and so meet up beforehand)and make arrangements that suit us both.
