We're recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team supporting the movement of goods both within the UK and internationally. This is a hands–on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include:

Picking and packing customer ordersReceiving, checking and storing incoming deliveriesLoading and unloading vehicles safelyCarrying out goods in and goods out inspectionsPreparing orders for dispatch, including pallet wrapping and labellingCompleting stock movements and updating warehouse systemsCarrying out stock checks and maintaining stock accuracyOperating warehouse equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift (where licensed)Following health and safety procedures at all timesKeeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient

To be successful for this Warehouse Operative role you will need:

Previous warehouse experience within a manufacturing or distribution environmentCounterbalance Forklift experience (valid licence preferred)Experience preparing goods for UK and international dispatch is advantageousGood attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsA proactive attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to undertake manual handling duties
